Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall was designed as the new home of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Located in Baltimore’s Mount Royal cultural district, the 2,443 seat hall has been praised for both its acoustics and its stunning beauty. In collaboration with renowned acoustical consultants Bolt, Beranek and Newman, the hall was designed to create an outstanding concert-going experience with comfortable seating, ideal site lines and unobstructed views. The innovative design is one of the few concert halls that has box seats over the stage.
